BTS 'Arirang' Tops Billboard 200

BTS's 'Arirang' hits number one on the Billboard 200, leads global charts, and experiences a sold-out world tour.

The group dominates weekly charts worldwide with their fifth album, 'Arirang'.

Hanteo Chart reported on the 30th that 'Arirang' led the weekly world and album charts (March 23-29). Released on the 20th, it topped the chart by the third week of March and remained first for two weeks.

Billboard stated on the 30th that 'Arirang' topped the 'Billboard 200' on April 4. It entered with 641,000 units, the highest weekly group album performance since December 2014. Pure album sales were 532,000, marking the highest weekly sales for a group in over ten years.

BTS swept Spotify's global charts (March 20-26), leading 'Weekly Top Albums', 'Weekly Top Songs', and 'Weekly Top Artists'. The title track 'SWIM' was number one on 'Weekly Top Songs Global', with all album tracks in the top 30.

'SWIM' was first on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' and Apple Music's 'Top 100 Global' for 9 and 7 days respectively (March 20-28, March 23-29). All tracks continue to rank high, showing global fan support.


 

BTS will perform the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' in Goyang on April 9, 11, and 12. In October, they will tour South American stadiums in Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. All 46 shows, including Goyang, North America, Europe, and Tokyo, are sold out, highlighting immense demand.
